Manager: means the individual responsible for selection and entry of a team to our fantasy football league. Season: means the English football season 2006/2007, including all the Euro '08 games. .

Eligibility:

The “Rules” and any other instructions detailed in advertisement for Football 4 Charity’s Euro 2008 Fantasy Football League form part of the terms and conditions for this competition. By entering this competition you agree to be legally bound to such terms and conditions.

Selecting Your Teams:

Managers can enter as many teams they like. Teams must be entered in the formation of either 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 and you must keep within the £50million budget at all times. Teams must include 1 goalkeeper and 4 defenders plus either 3 midfielders and 3 strikers (4-3-3) or 4 midfielders and 2 strikers (4-4-2). Managers may switch between formations throughout the season by making transfers.  There is no limit on players from the same club.

Team Names:

Teams may be called anything at all as long as it is not rude or offensive to anyone. Football 4 Charity reserves the right to ban teams whose name is offensive.

Entering Your Team:

Teams cannot be entered until the payment of £5 has been made and confirmed. Online payment can be made through PayPal and we accepts all cards. If you would prefer to pay by cheque please send cheques to ‘Football 4 Charity’ and post them to 105 Middleton Hall Rd, Kings Norton, Birmingham, B30 1AG.

Coupons:

Football 4 Charity now offer a Coupon Method of payment, so that you can pay for a group of fantasy football teams at once and then your friends, family or colleagues can enter their teams without having to go trough the payment page. This can be used by anyone and if buying for large numbers of teams it is really appreciated, as Football 4 Charity will not lose money through PayPal.

Coupons are allocated by Football 4 Charity and you will only be allocated the amount of coupons that you actually pay for. If you try to submit more teams than you have paid for, a message will come up saying that your coupons have expired, meaning you have not paid for enough coupons to submit teams. You can contact Sam at Football 4 Charity to order more coupons on sam@football4charity.wanadoo.co.uk or 07843891400.

Entry Deadline:

There is no entry deadline for you to enter your Euro 2008 Fantasy Football League.

Making Transfers:

For each team you enter, you are allowed to make up to a maximum of 12 transfers to take out the old and bring in the new. These transfers can be made at any stage during the season apart from when the transfer block is on (see below). When you bring a player in, the player you take out will not gain your team any points from once you have taken them out, also you will only get the points of the players you bring in from the stage you bring him in.

You can only swap goalkeepers for goalkeepers, defenders for defenders, midfielders for midfielders and strikers for strikers and you cannot go over your £50million budget with any of your transfers. The only exception to this is if you are switching from 4-4-2 to 4-3-3 or vice versa.

Once you have made a transfer, it cannot be changed.

Transfer Block:

Football 4 Charity now have the facility to set a transfer block. This is so that while the actual Euro 08 matches are being played, managers cannot make transfers.  The block will be activated between midday and midnight on Saturdays and Sundays as well as during midweek games - no transfers can be made at these times.

Otherwise the prize will be given to the team who writes the best and most entertaining report on the Football 4 Charity fantasy football league.

Mini Leagues:

For the first season, Football 4 Charity are offering the chance for you to enter your team in a ‘Mini-League’. This means you can compete with your friends, family or colleagues in a smaller league table to see who is the best of the bunch, while still competing in the full league table for the 1st, 2nd or 3rd prizes.

Mini-Leagues are set up with a League Director, who has to recruit a minimum of 19 other teams (including his or her own teams). Managers can enter as many teams as they like.

Football 4 Charity do not allocate prizes for Mini-Leagues, it is the responsibility of the Mini-League director and other managers to put up prizes for the mini-league. If you would like a cash prize to be put up for the league, then Football 4 Charity are more than happy to accept an extra £1 from each teams entry (taking the entry fee to £6 a team) and giving £1’s prize money per each team entered.

Business Leagues:

Any business that enters 20 teams into the Europ 08 Fantasy Football League will be entered into the Business League so that you can all see how your business is doing compared to other local and national businesses. The score for your business is calculated by taking the average of the top 20 teams registered from your business.

The business league prize - the match against the celebrity team - will only be valid if we receive more than 1000 entries (individual, not company) into the business league.
